Mallard Bay Nursing and Rehab is looking for a highly organized Medical Records and Central Supply Coordinator to support our clinical team and ensure resident records are accurate, complete, and secure. Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize resident medical records for accuracy and compliance
- Review charts for completeness, signatures, and required documentation
- Prepare and finalize records for discharged residents
- Process medical record requests in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Pull charts for audits and collaborate with nursing and other departments
- Follow up on missing information as needed
- Order, receive, stock, and dispense departmental supplies, and maintain an accurate inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of facility supplies and resident and ancillary services, preparing reports as required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional communication skills
- Healthcare or medical records experience preferred
